We are a married couple living in Norway, more precisely Knarvik, which is about 25km north of Bergen. The house is shared with five dogs, one twelve year old Australian Shepherd named Ally, and four Cavaliers, Carmen 5 years , Thea is four years, Claris the only boy he is one year and from own breed we have Cleo, she is one year.

Our son, John, decided to study abroad in 2000, and has since that gotten a job and a permanent residence in Australia.
Kjersti, our daughter, lives in an apartment below us. We have "shared custody" of Thea with her. We take care of her when Kjersti is at work or school.
We got our first dog in 1987, a golden retriever. As all "doggy-lovers" we soon found out that one was not enough, and has had at least 2 or 3 dogs at a time the last 20 years. But as we got older we decided that a smaller breed would be better.
As we have always been active in agility, obedience training and other dog-related activities, we wanted a breed that could keep up. After looking at several different breeds, we agreed that the Cavalier would be perfect for us, and have never regretted this decision. We are still amazed at how well they adapt to their surroundings and love everything and everyone.
We are both active in our local Cavalier Club, where we meet once a week.
